NOVELTY - Manufacture of carbon nanowall involves etching metal substrate using acid solution having concentration of 0.01-1 mol/L for 0.5-10 minutes, heating etched metal substrate at 600-900 degrees C under anaerobic condition, irradiating ultraviolet ray to metal substrate surface, reacting, and supplying carbon-containing gas and protective gas for 30-300 minutes. The flow rate of carbon-containing gas is 10-1000 sccm. The ratio of flow rate of carbon-containing gas and protective gas is 2-10:1. USE - Manufacture of carbon nanowall used for manufacturing graphene nanobelt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of carbon nanowall having uniform wall thickness and complete structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphene nanobelt, which involves mixing carbon nanowall and chloride intercalating agent, heating at 460-550 degrees C for 2-6 hours, ultrasonically-treating for 3-24 hours and filtering.
