NOVELTY - Usage of cellulosic polymer involves exfoliating graphene source material with medium comprising organic solvent partially miscible with water and dispersing agent comprising cellulosic polymer, contacting at least portion of exfoliated graphene medium with aqueous medium to concentrate exfoliated graphene in composition comprising graphene and cellulosic polymer, and contacting graphene composition with hydrophobic fluid component. The dispersing agent is partially soluble in organic solvent. USE - Usage of cellulosic polymer for preparing graphene ink composition for forming composite (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to transistor, solar cell, light emitting diode and sensor. ADVANTAGE - The cellulosic polymer enables rapid, economical and efficient preparation of graphene ink composition having excellent conductivity, chemical stability, intrinsic flexibility, film-forming capability and dispersion stability. The substrate using the graphene ink composition has excellent flexibility and resistivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of graphene ink composition, which involves exfoliating graphene source material with medium comprising organic solvent, contacting portion of exfoliated graphene medium with aqueous medium to concentrate exfoliated graphene and ethyl cellulose in composition comprising graphene and cellulosic polymer, and contacting graphene-cellulose composition with hydrophobic fluid component; (2) composition, which comprises graphene, hydrophobic fluid component partially immiscible with aqueous medium and cellulosic polymer dispersing agent partially soluble in hydrophobic fluid component; and (3) composite, which comprises composition comprising annealed product of cellulose-stabilized graphene coupled to substrate.
