NOVELTY - Method for improving performance of yttrium barium copper oxide-doped graphene oxide composite bulk materials involves (a) mixing graphene oxide powder and yttrium barium copper oxide powder to obtain a mixed powder, chemical ball milling the mixed powder, grinding the mixed powder in a ceramic mortar to obtain a mixed precursor powder, (b) adding the mixed precursor powder to a stainless steel mold, pressing the tablet with a hydraulic press, applying a primary pressure of 5 MPa, gradually increasing the pressure to 30-45 MPa according to a gradient of 5 MPa/time, maintaining the pressure applied on the stainless steel mold at 30-45 MPa for 0.1 hour to obtain a mixed precursor block, and (c) sintering the mixed precursor block in a high-temperature tube furnace for crystallization heat treatment at 1000 degrees C at a rate of 200 degrees C/hour, introducing oxygen, cooling to 990-985 degrees C at a rate of 1 degrees C/hour, and finally cooling to 985 degrees C to room temperature to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for improving performance of yttrium barium copper oxide-doped graphene oxide composite bulk materials. ADVANTAGE - The composite bulk material has excellent toughness and compensates the disadvantages of mechanical strength. The method is simple in operation, and adopts large-scale industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for improving performance of yttrium barium copper oxide-doped graphene oxide composite bulk materials involves (a) mixing graphene oxide powder and yttrium barium copper oxide powder in a mass ratio of 1:(100-200) to obtain a mixed powder, chemical ball milling the mixed powder in a ball mill for fineness, grinding the mixed powder in a ceramic mortar so that the graphene oxide powder and the yttrium barium copper oxide powder are uniformly mixed to obtain a mixed precursor powder, (b) adding the mixed precursor powder to a stainless steel mold, pressing the tablet with a hydraulic press, applying a primary pressure of 5 MPa, gradually increasing the pressure to 30-45 MPa according to a gradient of 5 MPa/time, maintaining the pressure applied on the stainless steel mold at 30-45 MPa for 0.1 hour to obtain a mixed precursor block, and (c) washing the surface of the mixed precursor block, sintering in a high-temperature tube furnace for crystallization heat treatment at 1000 degrees C at a rate of 200 degrees C/hour, introducing oxygen at 1000 degrees C to ensure that the mixed precursor block is sintered in a circulating oxygen environment for 6 hours, cooling to 1000-990 degrees C at a rate of 2 degrees C/hour, cooling to 990-985 degrees C at a rate of 1 degrees C/hour and finally cooling to 985 degrees C to room temperature to obtain the product.
