NOVELTY - Preparing graphene material comprises (i) using bipolar dispersion of graphene oxide as raw material to prepare graphene oxide gel, the solvent of the bipolar dispersion of the graphene oxide comprises at least one good solvent for graphene oxide and one poor solvent for graphene oxide and quality of the good solvent is less than that of the poor solvent; and (ii) placing graphene oxide gel in first coagulation bath to remove poor solvent, and in second coagulation bath to remove the good solvent to obtain a graphene material with a small interlayer distance; and (iii) chemical or thermal reduction of graphene materials with small interlayer spacing. The good and poor solvent can be dimethylformamide and glycerol, dimethylacetamide and glycerol, dimethyl sulfoxide and glycerol, dimethylformamide and water, dimethylacetamide and water, dimethyl sulfoxide and water, dimethylformamide and ethylene glycol, dimethylacetamide and ethylene glycol, dimethyl sulfoxide and ethylene glycol. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene material is useful as a source material to construct carbon-based material of specific structure. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare high-orientation graphene with low interlayer distance and very high stretch performance with the stretch ratio of 150% in the second coagulation bath thus removes good solvent.
