NOVELTY - A sheet-like molybdenum disulfide/graphene composite airgel comprises a conductive skeleton, molybdenum disulfide nanosheet and uniformly dispersed graphene sheets, where the molybdenum disulfide nanosheet has flake size of 200-500 nm and the airgel has three-dimensional network structure. USE - Sheet-like molybdenum disulfide/graphene composite airgel. ADVANTAGE - The airgel can effectively avoid the volumetric expansion and material crushing problem, and improve structural stability and cycle performance of a negative electrode material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a sheet-like molybdenum disulfide/graphene composite airgel, which involves preparing a graphene oxide dispersion solution, adding deionized water and certain amount of water-soluble molybdate and thiourea, adding a solution of 0.1-3 ml organic amine to the obtained dispersion solution, performing a hydrothermal reaction on the solution at a temperature of 160-240 degrees C followed by freeze-drying, placing in an argon/hydrogen mixed atmosphere and heat treating at 800 degrees C for 2 hours to obtain the airgel.
