NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-polystyrene composite from graphite and styrene involves mixing styrene (mL) and graphite (g) in mass ratio of 1000:1-1000:7, and then placing in ball mill for 6-36 hours to obtain styrene dispersion containing graphene, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion in a numerical control type ultrasonic microphone for 2-8 hours, and further dispersing to obtain graphene/styrene dispersion having good dispersibility. The mass ratio of polyvinyl alcohol and deionized water is 1:3, and is added to a three-necked reactor equipped with a stirrer and a reflux condenser, then heated in a water bath to 70?C. The styrene dispersion (mL) and azobisisobutyronitrile (g) are mixed in mass ratio of 80:1 and is added to the reactor, under stirring at stirring speed of 420 rotations per minute. USE - Method of preparing graphene-polystyrene composite from graphite and styrene used as heat conducting composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene-polystyrene composite from graphite and styrene is eco-friendly, has mild reaction condition, heat conducting coefficient 0.2508W/ (mx degrees C) and thermal decomposition temperature of 360 degrees C. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The water bath temperature is raised to 87 degrees C for 2 hours and then heated to 90 degrees C for half an hour, and polymerization reaction is performed to obtain a solid polymer. The obtained solid polymer is filtered and dried under vacuum at 60-80 degrees C for 4-6 hours to obtain final product.
