NOVELTY - Aqueous acrylic coating comprises 100 pts. wt. acrylic resin emulsion, 0.1 to 5 pts. wt. spitball graphene microspheres, 30 to 60 pts. wt. inorganic filler, 0.9 to 12 pts. wt. auxiliary agent, 10 to 20 pts. wt. water. The spitball graphene microspheres comprises wrinkled single layer of graphene sheets, The microspheres have a diameter of 500 nm to 5 mu m, a density of 0.2 to 0.4 g / cm3, a carbon to oxygen ratio of 20 to 60, a specific surface area of less than 200 m2. USE - Aqueous acrylic coating. ADVANTAGE - The aqueous acrylic coating has improved wear resistance, improved resistance to chemical corrosion and improved overall stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing spitball graphene microspheres, which involves drying the monolayer oxide graphene dispersion by atomization drying to obtain graphene microspheres; reducing the graphene oxide microspheres in a reducing gas atmosphere to obtain reduced grained graphene microspheres; subjecting reduced graphene microspheres to high-temperature treatment at a temperature higher than 1000 degrees C to obtain spitball graphene microspheres; and (2) a method for preparing aqueous acrylic coating, which involves stirring spitball graphene microspheres and acrylic resin emulsion, performing ultrasonic dispersion, followed by adding water, additives and inorganic fillers, stirring, defoaming to obtain product.
