NOVELTY - Preparing three-dimensional graphene comprises (a) dissolving surfactant in water, adding furfuryl alcohol, stirring, reacting to obtain polyfurfuryl alcohol, (b) mixing polyfurfuryl alcohol with graphene oxide, subjecting to hydrothermal reaction to obtain graphene oxide/polyfurfuryl alcohol gel and (c) subjecting the gel to reduction under oxygen-free environment and removing polyfurfuryl alcohol. USE - The three-dimensional graphene is useful in super capacitors, sea water desalination and oil absorption. ADVANTAGE - The method controls the size of graphene with different apertures.
