NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene supported cobalt catalyst comprises reacting graphene oxide and cobalt source in solution system at 150-220 degrees C, preferably 180-220 degrees C in presence of reducing agent, centrifugally washing, dispersing, adding 0-5 wt.% additive, drying and roasting under inert gas atmosphere. USE - Method for preparing graphene supported cobalt catalyst used for catalyzing Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (claimed).. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst improves selectivity of low-carbon alkene and inhibits methane generation.
