NOVELTY - Preparation of latex sponge supporting graphene, involves preparing a graphene oxide dispersion using polyvinylpyrrolidone, beta -hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin, and ethanol as dispersant in a mass ratio of 8-10:4-7:100, soaking cleaned latex sponge in the graphene oxide dispersion, stir-mixing, introducing nitrogen, adding aqueous ammonia and gallic acid, adjusting pH to 10-12, reacting at 60-95 degrees C for 6-12 hours, and drying at 50-60 degrees C for 24-36 hours. USE - Preparation of latex sponge supporting graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and environmentally-friendly preparation of latex sponge supporting graphene with good repeateability. Large amount of graphene is loaded uniformly on the sponge surface, without agglomeration. The obtained product has excellent oleophilic-hydrophobic performance and mechanical property.
