NOVELTY - A graphene oxide-modified emulsion-type carbon fiber sizing agent contains 100 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 5-55 pts. wt. diluent, 5-15 pts. wt. emulsifier, 1-5 pts. wt. penetrating agent, 0-15 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 150 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - The graphene oxide-modified emulsion-type sizing agent is useful for carbon fiber-reinforced polypropylene composite. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide-modified emulsion-type sizing agent can be prepared in an economical manner with low toxicity and without pollution, improves post-processing properties of carbon fiber, improves interfacial adhesion between carbon fiber and polypropylene resin matrix, and improves mechanical strength of carbon fiber-reinforced polypropylene composite.
