NOVELTY - Preparing Schiff base sensitized graphene composite titanium dioxide photo-catalyst involves selecting nano titanium oxide powder is Degussa P25, mixing the nano titanium oxide powder with de-ionized water, high speed dispersing for 0.5-1.5 hours by emulsifying machine to prepare 5-10% suspension, using acetic acid to adjust the pH of suspension to 4-6, then adding silane coupling agent KH550 accounting for 5-15% mass of the nanometre titanium oxide powder, reacting for 1-3 hours at 80-100degrees Celsius to obtain the nanometre titanium oxide suspension, preparing graphene oxide suspension by Hummers method, by ultrasonic processing in the de-ionized water to obtain stable graphene oxide water dispersion, the concentration is 5mg/mL, taking 20mL GO aqueous solution, 1 g silane coupling agent KH550 into absolute ethyl alcohol, stirring to make it dissolve, adding into GOs water solution. USE - Method for preparing Schiff base sensitized graphene composite titanium dioxide photo-catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method has obviously improved removing effect of gaseous formaldehyde and removing efficiency of formaldehyde in 48 hours is 89%.
