NOVELTY - Fluorinated graphene hydrophobically modified epoxy resin includes epoxy resin, filler fluorinated graphene, curing agent and auxiliary agent, where the fluorinated graphene hydrophobically modified epoxy resin selects fluorinated graphene as a filler and adds it to an epoxy resin matrix to form a composite material system. USE - Fluorinated graphene hydrophobic modified epoxy resin is used for high voltage insulating material for power transmission and transformation device. ADVANTAGE - The fluorinated graphene hydrophobic modified epoxy resin provides the self-layered water-repellent epoxy resins with excellent hydrophilic performance. By adding fluorinated graphene as a filler in epoxy resin made fluorinated graphene hydrophobically modified epoxy resin, the fluorinated graphene hydrophobic modified epoxy resin has a very low surface energy, high chemical and thermal stability, and high hydrophobicity due to the increased presence of carbon-fluorine bonds, which changes the molecular structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of fluorinated graphene hydrophobically modified epoxy resin, involving (a) preparation of fluorinated grapheme by fluorinating graphene oxide with hydrofluoric acid to obtain fluorinated grapheme, and (b) fluorine-silicon composite epoxy resin material by putting epoxy resin, curing agent methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride, filler fluorinated graphene and auxiliary agent hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane into the reaction kettle according to the proportion and mixing them to obtain a fluorine-silicon modified epoxy resin preparation, and then disperse the fluorine-silicon modified epoxy resin preparation to obtain a casting material, then the solidifying the casting material, and demolding the mold to obtain a sample of fluorinated graphene hydrophobically modified epoxy resin.
