NOVELTY - Preparation of carbon-coated ternary positive electrode material with micro-nano structure involves (S1) mixing nickel source, cobalt source, and manganese source into deionized water to prepare nickel-cobalt-manganese solution, adding lithium source to the solution to obtain mixed solution (A), (S2) adding carbon source to the solution (A), stirring to obtain mixed solution (B), sintering the solution (B) after microwave heating to obtain sintered sample (B), (S3) ultrasonically treating the sample (B) to obtain solution (C), (S4) mixing and stirring octadecylene and emulsifier emulsifying the emulsifier to obtain solution (D), and (S5) dripping the solution (C) into the solution (D) to obtain solution (E), and drying the solution (E). USE - Preparation of carbon-coated ternary material used as positive electrode used in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method can make up the defect of large specific surface area of single crystal ternary material and poor cycle performance and rate performance of the polycrystalline ternary material, and improves the cycle stability of the material.
