NOVELTY - A UV-photoprotecting geogrid comprises 0.2-0.3 pt. wt. 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone, 1-2 pts. wt. ammonium sulfate, 5-7 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 40-50 pts. wt. p-hydroxybenzoic acid, 10-17 pts. wt. acetic anhydride, 0.08-0.1 pt. wt zinc acetate, 20-30 pts. wt. 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, 180-200 pts. wt. high-density polyethylene, 0.8-1 pt. wt. zinc pyrithione, 2-3 pts. wt. calcium hydrogen phosphate, 0.5-1 pt. wt. zinc acetylacetonate, 10-13 pts. wt. dibutyl maleate, 1-2 pts. wt. dodecylmercaptan, 2-3 pts. wt. saturated octadecanamide and 0.1-0.2 pt. wt. dibasic lead phosphite. USE - UV-photoprotecting geogrid is used for outdoor applications. ADVANTAGE - The UV-photoprotecting geogrid has excellent heat stability.
