NOVELTY - Preparing ultraviolet light multi-mode coupled gold nano-wire film, comprises (a) adopting chemical reduction method to prepare gold nano-particle sol, and performing centrifugal concentration so that the gold nanoparticle spontaneously forms gold nano-particle wire and gold nano-particle ring in monodisperse state; and (b) dropping the concentrated gold nano-particle sol on the surface of the substrate, vacuum drying until the concentrated gold nano-particle sol is completely evaporated, and obtaining the gold nano-wire thin film of gravity settled on the substrate surface, namely the near ultraviolet light multi-mode coupling nano-wire thin film. USE - The gold nanowire film is useful in near-ultraviolet light multi-mode coupled absorption scattering conversion detection device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gold nano-wire thin film has specific gold nano-particle size range and at least two optically coupled resonance peaks at the wavelength of 200-450 nm of the ultraviolet region, and exhibits enhanced forward absorption and reverse scattering due to optical multi-mode coupled plasmon resonance property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for gold nanowire film prepared by the preparation method.
