NOVELTY - Modified graphene composite polyethylene material comprises 75-100 pts. wt. polyethylene, 0.5-2 pts. wt. graphene, 1-4 pts. wt. coupling agent, 4-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 0.8-2 pts. wt. dispersant, 2-5 pts. wt. flocculating agent, and 3-5 pts. wt. stabilizing agent. USE - Used as modified graphene composite polyethylene material. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes graphene as an antistatic agent and a reinforcing agent; organically modifies graphene by using a coupling agent; utilizes antistatic toughening and strengthening system of polyethylene comprising maleic anhydride-grafted EVA as a toughening compatibilizer; utilizes flocculants and stabilizing agents to obtain stable physical and chemical properties of the polyethylene material; utilizes small amount of modifier; and produces product with excellent mechanical properties and antistatic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the modified graphene composite polyethylene material, comprising (i) placing graphene and coupling agent in an organic solvent, refluxing for 80-120 minutes, and removing the organic solvent to obtain an organically modified graphene, (ii) dispersing the organically modified graphene in deionized water, and mixing to obtain an organically modified graphene dispersion liquid, (iii) mixing the dispersion liquid, polyethylene, compatibilizer and dispersant, and discharging the material to obtain a modified graphite-compound polyethylene composite material, (iv) melting the polyethylene mixture at 160-210 degrees C, sequentially adding flocculating agent and a stabilizing agent, and extruding to obtain a modified graphene composite polyethylene tube, and (v) cooling the tube, cutting, and drying.
