NOVELTY - The switch has a single-layer graphene (g) and a dielectric thin layer (A) that are distributed at intervals, for forming a periodic array structure. The single-layer graphene is embedded between adjacent dielectric thin layers. The two outer sides of the periodic array structure are single-layer graphene and dielectric thin sheet layer. The single-layer graphene corresponding to the different chemical potential of the open-close threshold value and the threshold interval are different. The chemical potential of the single-layer graphene is changed by adding voltage on the single-layer graphene, so as to adjust the open and close threshold value and threshold interval of the optical switch. USE - Optical bi-stable all-optical switch based on graphene array. ADVANTAGE - The optical bi-stable state with low threshold value can be realized. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a sectional view of the optical bi-stable all-optical switch.
