NOVELTY - A composite comprises silicon (Si), silicon oxide which is disposed on the silicon, and graphene which is disposed on the silicon oxide. USE - A composite for electrode used for lithium battery and device, such as electroluminescent device, biosensor, semiconductor device, and thermoelectric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite allows the graphene, which has excellent conductivity and flexibility, to suppress and/or accommodate the volume expansion of the silicon and has a high specific surface area, and as a result, when a battery includes the composite, deterioration of an initial efficiency and a volume energy density may be prevented. The thermoelectric material has improved thermoelectric performance due to excellent electric characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A composite comprises silicon (Si), silicon oxide of formula SiOx which is disposed on the silicon, and graphene which is disposed on the silicon oxide. x=0-2.
