▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Process for producing sulfur-carbon composite material, involves (a) preparing a sulfur solution in a solvent different from carbon disulfide and having a boiling temperature lower than the melting temperature of sulfur, and operating at a temperature of 15 degrees C and the boiling temperature of the solvent, (b) dispersing carbon particles in a finely divided form in the solution of step (a) in an amount such as to obtain a sulfur/carbon weight ratio of 9-20, and (c) drying the solution with a solvent evaporation rate less than or equal to 0.08 l/hour. USE - The process is used for producing sulfur-carbon composite material for lithium-sulfur battery electrode (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process is environmentally-friendly processes that allow mass production and reduce environmental risks in the use of sustainable low-impact resources. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a sulfur-carbon composite material obtained by the above method; and (2) a lithium-sulfur battery electrode is formed by a mixture of particles of the sulfur-carbon composite material, polyvinylidene-fluoride as a binder and carbon black, where the mixture is being distributed on a current collector chosen from an aluminum sheet or a carbon fabric as an electrode.
