NOVELTY - Preparation of three-dimensional-hierarchical porous graphene aerogel containing macropores and mesopores involves adding metal oxide to graphene oxide dispersion, stirring, hydrothermally reacting to form porous graphene gel having three-dimensional hierarchical structure with macropores containing metal oxide loaded on reduced graphene oxide, reducing loaded metal oxide by annealing, and treating with an acid to remove the reduced metal oxide to form mesopores. USE - Preparation of three-dimensional-hierarchical porous graphene aerogel containing macropores and mesopores for energy storage material used for lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The three-dimensional-hierarchical porous graphene aerogel having high specific surface area is produced. The graphene aerogel provides energy storage material capable of forming battery having excellent electrochemical efficiency, capacity and charging and discharging cycle characteristics.
