NOVELTY - The electrode comprising an alkali metal electrode and a surface protective layer that is loaded on the alkali metal electrode. The surface protective layer comprises a fluorine doped graphene oxide layer. The alkali metal electrode is selected from potassium foil and lithium foil. The fluorine doped graphene oxide layer is loaded on a side surface of the alkali metal electrode, where thickness of the alkali metal electrode is calculated about 5-50 m. The surface protective layer comprises a graphene metal electrode and a fluorine-containing SEI film. USE - Metal electrode for use in an alkali metal battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The surface protective layer can adjust the flatness and uniformity of the electric field, thus making the metal electrode form a stable SEI layer in the circulation process, effectively inhibiting growth of dendritic crystal, stabilizing the metal interface to improve stability of metal electrode.
