NOVELTY - Synthesizing unsaturated polyester nano hybrid resin involves dispersing graphene oxide powder in diol to obtain uniformly dispersed oxidized graphene/ diol nano-dispersion. The unsaturated and saturated dibasic acid or dibasic acid anhydride mixture, and polymerization inhibitor are mixed, and heated at 180-220 degrees C to carried out in situ polycondensation reaction, where molar ratio of unsaturated to saturated acid or dibasic anhydride is 1:3-3:1, and molar ratio of diol, unsaturated, and saturated dibasic acid or dibasic anhydride is 1:1-1.2:1. USE - Method for synthesizing unsaturated polyester nano hybrid resin used for preparing fiber reinforced material, and molding plastic or paint (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to synthesize unsaturated polyester nano hybrid resin which has good comprehensive performance and degradable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Synthesizing unsaturated polyester nano hybrid resin involves dispersing graphene oxide powder in diol to obtain uniformly dispersed oxidized graphene/ diol nano-dispersion. The unsaturated and saturated dibasic acid or dibasic acid anhydride mixture, and polymerization inhibitor are mixed, and heated at 180-220 degrees C to carried out in situ polycondensation reaction, where molar ratio of unsaturated to saturated acid or dibasic anhydride is 1:3-3:1, and molar ratio of diol, unsaturated, and saturated dibasic acid or dibasic anhydride is 1:1-1.2:1. The acidity of reaction system is reduced to 70-120 milligram potassium hydroxide/gram, cooled reaction system at 120-180 degrees C, added tung oil, heated at 180-220 degrees C to continued reaction until acid value reached to 30-35 milligram potassium hydroxide/gram, reduced temperature to 100-150 degrees C, added styrene to diluted, and dispersed uniformly to obtain resin product.
