NOVELTY - The preparation method of silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material involves: (1) mounting vertical graphene array material on rotary table, and carrying out magnetron sputtering using silicon targets to obtain vertical graphene composite array with surface coated with silicon; (2) placing metal lithium on heating platform, and melting metal lithium into liquid to get molten lithium; and (3) contacting the surface of vertical graphene composite array with surface coated with silicon with molten lithium. USE - The method is useful for preparing silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material, which is useful as an anode material for lithium battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material with high yield. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material involves: (1) mounting vertical graphene array material on rotary table, and carrying out magnetron sputtering using silicon targets to obtain vertical graphene composite array with surface coated with silicon; (2) placing metal lithium on heating platform, and melting metal lithium into liquid to get molten lithium; and (3) contacting the surface of vertical graphene composite array with surface coated with silicon with molten lithium, then placing on the surface of molten lithium, leaving still for sometime, and introducing molten lithium into porous structure of surface-coated vertical graphene composite array. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material prepared by above method; and (2) silicon-coated vertical graphene/metal lithium composite material.
