NOVELTY - Modified sheath material comprises 110 parts mass DuPont(RTM: Neoprene rubber) WM-1, 30 parts mass modified graphene oxide (maleic anhydride (MAH)-graphene oxide (GO)), 6 parts mass zinc oxide, 3 parts mass magnesium oxide, 0.8 part mass sodium-22, 1 part mass accelerator, 1 part mass stearic acid, 1 pt. wt. silane coupling agent KH-560 ((3-glycidoxypropyl)trimethoxysilane), 15 parts mass talc, 10 parts mass calcium carbonate, 10 parts mass plasticizer dioctyl phthalate (DOP), and 2 parts mass anti-aging agent dioctyldiphenylamine. USE - The modified sheath material is used for a sheath layer for a reel cable for mining (claimed), thermosetting rubber sheath cable and thermoplastic polyurethane sheath cables. ADVANTAGE - The modified sheath material selects modified graphene oxide as a high-performance filler to prepare neoprene rubber sheath material, which increases the bonding ability with neoprene molecules and improves the physical properties of neoprene rubber. The sheath of the mine reel cable solves the problem of damage to the sheath due to long-term scraping and wear of the cable during long-term use, meets the harsh working conditions of the mine, and thus ensures the normal service life of the cable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: a preparation method of the modified sheath material, comprising (a) mixing by adding (RTM: Neoprene rubber) WM-1, modified graphene oxide MAH-GO, stearic acid, antioxidant ODA, plasticizer DOP, talc, magnesium oxide, and calcium carbonate, controlling the mixing temperature at 80-85℃ and the mixing time for 7 minutes, and leaving the mixed rubber to stand for 5 hours, (b) vulcanization by adding zinc oxide, silane coupling agent KH-560 ((3-glycidoxypropyl)trimethoxysilane), sodium-22, and accelerator to the standing rubber in sequence, then adding sulfur and mixing again, and controlling the mixing temperature at 65-70℃, and the mixing time for 3 minutes, and (c) sheet making by putting the vulcanized rubber into a calender and pressing it into a film with a width of 800 mm and a thickness of 0.9 mm, and then cooling the rubber temperature by a cooling machine to obtain the final modified sheath material; andDuPont a reel cable for mining, including a total cable core comprising a power core, a ground core and an optical fiber unit, and the three power cores are normally stranded, where the optical fiber unit is installed in the center gap of the three power cores, and the three grounding cores are distributed in the outer edge gaps of the three power cores, and where the total cable core is extruded with sheath layer outside, and the sheath layer adopts the modified sheath material.
