NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene-antimony-silicon-containing composite secondary battery negative electrode material involves (i) surface-modifying silicon particles with an alkoxysilane-based surface modifier to obtain silicon particles surface-modified with an alkoxysilane-based surface modifier, (ii) preparing graphene-antimony-silicon composite material powder by ultrasonically dispersing the silicon particles surface-modified with the alkoxysilane-based surface modifier, graphene oxide, antimony and lithium titanate in a solvent, freeze-drying and pulverizing, and (iii) calcining the graphene-antimony-silicon composite material powder, cooling, and mixing with a fluorine-based polymer. USE - Manufacture of graphene-antimony-silicon-containing composite material used for secondary battery negative electrode (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces high-capacity graphene-antimony-silicon-containing composite material having high charge-discharge capacity, high stability, such as reducing the volume expansion coefficient and high electrical conductivity while lowering the manufacturing cost.
