NOVELTY - A rapid thermal processing method for preparing graphene powder in air atmosphere comprises putting precursor of graphene in non-sealing cover crucible, then carrying out heat treatment in the air atmosphere to obtain the graphene powder. USE - A rapid thermal processing method for preparing graphene powder in air atmosphere. ADVANTAGE - The method does not need inert gas or reducing gas. The heat treatment temperature of the graphene is reduced to 250-850 degrees C, which greatly expands the heat treatment temperature range of the graphene, and reduces the energy consumption. Nitrogen doping can be controlled (preferably at 0.62-8.96 at.%), which is good for expanding the graphene powder. The obtained graphene has 1-5 graphene layers, specific surface area of 500-918 m2/ g, and resistivity of 0.02-0.04 Omega -cm.
