NOVELTY - Preparing temperature-resistant polyacrylamide comprises (i) adding 99.86 pts. wt. 20% acrylamide solution into a beaker, stirring and adding 0.14 pts. wt. 10% ammonium persulfate solution, transferring beaker into a water bath, heating to 60 degrees C, slowly stirring and observing for viscosity change for 30 minutes and stopping heating to obtain polyacrylamide, (ii) taking 90.9 pts. wt. 5% polyacrylamide solution, adding 9.1 pts. wt. 10% sodium hydroxide solution, heating to 90 degrees C and hydrolyzing for 30 minutes to obtain hydrolyzed polyacrylamide colloid, and (iii) adding 97-99.5 pts. wt. hydrolyzed polyacrylamide colloid and 0.5-3 pts. wt. graphene into a kneader and kneading for 15 minutes. USE - The method is useful for preparing temperature-resistant polyacrylamide. ADVANTAGE - The method improves viscosity retention rate, performance and stability of polyacrylamide.
