NOVELTY - Preparation of modified graphite oxide/polyimide composite material comprises modifying graphite oxide surface using amino-terminated and poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide phenylenediamine oligomer, recycling hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent from modified graphene oxide reduction to obtaining modified graphene, dissolving modified graphene in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, blending, and dispersing in polyimide solution. The amount of modified graphene is 0.1-0.2 wt.%. USE - Method for preparing modified graphite oxide/polyimide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple polymerization. The product has good compatibility and mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphite oxide comprising taking 1-1.5 pt. wt. graphite powder, mixing with concentrated sulfuric acid and 2-3 pts. wt. potassium permanganate, placing into closed reaction vessel, water bathing and stirring at 40-80 degrees C for 4-6 hours, vacuuming, suction filtering, washing, drying in vacuum place, milling dried product, performing ultrasonic dispersion in deionized water, adding hydrochloric acid to adjust pH of less than 3, adding 1-3 pts. wt. potassium permanganate, reacting and stirring at 0-10 degrees C for 4-6 hours, adding hydrogen peroxide, water bathing and stirring at 20-30 degrees C for 2-4 hours, performing centrifugal sedimentation of suspension at room temperature, removing supernatant liquid, settling, adding deionized water, stirring, performing centrifugal sedimentation, removing supernatant, adding ethanol to precipitate, stirring, centrifuging, taking sediment, washing with ethanol, drying, dispersing in deionized water, and spray-drying to obtain graphite oxide.
