NOVELTY - Cathode material comprises graphene, and manganese dioxide supported on the surface of the graphene in a curd shape, where the cathode material is further doped with doping elements.. USE - Used as cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The manganese dioxide has a flower ball shape, a large specific surface area, distinct structural features and excellent electrochemical performance. The method: is simple and easy to operate; and improves the ion mobility of the material, stability of the material structure, gram capacity, cycle performance and rate performance of the battery, and reduces the battery polarization and expands the lithium ion transport channel. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing cathode material comprising heating graphene and potassium permanganate, reacting to obtain graphene with curd-shaped manganese dioxide on the surface, and doping elements to obtain cathode material; and (2) lithium ion battery comprising a negative pole piece, where the negative pole piece is provided with the graphene-manganese dioxide flower spherical cathode material.
