NOVELTY - A printed processing unit comprises an inlet port for receiving process materials, a reaction chamber for processing the materials in fluid communication with the inlet port, a channel to transfer the materials from the inlet port to the reaction chamber, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the reaction chamber for removing the processed materials. The reaction chamber is in an X-axis or Y-axis orientation. The inlet and outlet ports are in a Z-axis orientation with respect to the orientation of the reaction chamber. USE - Printed processing unit for use in processing chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical materials. ADVANTAGE - The unit has excellent compatibility, efficiency by reducing internal channel diameter to 2 mm, and can connect and integrate without leaks to existing tubing or fittings.
