NOVELTY - Protective wax based on surface-modified graphene comprises bile acid or its derivative-treated graphene added in protective wax. The bile acid or its derivative-treated graphene is added at 0.001-6 mass% based on the mass of protective wax. USE - Protective wax based on surface-modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The protective wax based on surface-modified graphene uses surface treated graphene with good stability and dispersibility in protective wax, and has increased corrosion resistance, mechanical damage resistance and storage stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of protective wax based on surface-modified graphene comprising taking graphene, dissolving in water, dispersing to obtain graphene solution, adding bile acid or its derivative in water, stirring to obtain bile acid or its derivative water solution, mixing graphene solution and bile acid or its derivative water solution by stirring, dropwise adding reducing agent under stirring condition, reacting for 24 hours, washing the product, centrifuging, obtaining surface-functionalized graphene, adding in protective wax, and uniformly mixing.
