NOVELTY - The device (100) has a chamber unit (10) provided in which a processing space (A) is formed so that an object (1) to be processed is accommodated in the chamber unit. An electromagnetic wave generator (20) is installed at one side of the chamber to irradiate electromagnetic waves (E) into the processing space. An infrared ray emitting element (30) absorbs the electromagnetic wave irradiated from the electromagnetic wave generator and emits infrared light to heat the hydrocarbon compound or moisture contained in the object to be treated. A reflective element (40) is formed of a material containing aluminum, gold and silver, or formed of a material coated with aluminum, gold or silver to increase the infrared reflection efficiency. The infrared emitting element is formed of a material of magnesium silicate or graphene to have an absorption/emission spectrum in the infrared region. USE - Heating device e.g. microwave oven for heating object using electromagnetic waves. ADVANTAGE - The to-be-processed object containing moisture content can be easily heated.
