NOVELTY - Preparing polyester fiber comprises using carbonic acid solution as a solvent for chitosan gel, coating the surface of the polyester fiber with chitosan; and then through the interaction between graphene oxide and chitosan, forming a stable graphene/chitosan coating on the surface of the polyester fiber; washing and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing polyester fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyester fiber is hydrophilic and antistatic (claimed). The method is simple, environment-friendly and economical.
