NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-coated nano-zero-valent iron composite material comprises (i) mixing lignin and tetrahydrofuran to obtain a liquid (A), (ii) dropping nano-ferroferric oxide aqueous solution into the liquid (B) to obtain liquid (C), (iii) adding zinc chloride (ZnCl 2 ) to the liquid A, stirring uniformly at room temperature, heating for 8-9 hours at 80-90?? C to obtain dried compound, (iv) grinding the composite precursor into powder, raising the temperature to 300?? C and keeping for 2-3 hours at the heating rate of 5-10?? C/minute under the nitrogen or inert gas environment, cooling to room temperature to obtain composite precursor, and (v) calcining at 800-900?? C under a nitrogen/inert gas environment for 2 to 3 hours. USE - Preparation method of carbon-coated nano zero-valent iron composite material used for oxidative degradation of persistent organic pollutants in environmental medium. Uses include but are not limited to biological carbon, carbon nano tube, and redox graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method has a core-shell structure, inhibits the agglomeration of nano-zero iron, and ensures the nano zero iron activity, can realize the anti-oxidant characteristics, with high efficiency to remove 2,4-dichlorophenol performance, has simple process, green raw material without pollution, and is capable of long-term stable in the air environment is not oxidized, and has good oxidation resistance. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a scanning image of a preparation method of carbon-coated nano zero-valent iron composite material (Drawing includes non-English language text). 20Room temperature
