NOVELTY - Surface-modified graphene comprises graphene or graphene derivatives having surface modified with polyglycerol and/or acylated polyglycerol. USE - Surface-modified graphene is used in graphene dispersion composition (claimed) used for functional materials e.g. electroconductive ink and transparent conductive film used in semiconductor devices. ADVANTAGE - The surface-modified graphene has excellent transparency, electrical property, and dispersion stability with respect to water or polar organic solvent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of surface-modified graphene, which involves performing ring-opening addition polymerization of glycidol with graphene or graphene derivatives; and (2) graphene dispersion composition, which contains the surface-modified graphene and a solvent.
