NOVELTY - Preparation of electrode material comprises mixing and stirring lithium source, manganese source, graphene oxide and water uniformly to obtain lithium source/graphene oxide/manganese source mixed solution, where concentration of lithium in mixed solution is 1-2 g/L, concentration of graphene oxide is 1-2 g/L, and mol ratio of lithium to manganese is 1-2:1; and adding electrode active material for extracting lithium into mixed solution for hydrothermal reaction, solid-liquid separating, washing, and calcining obtained solid product to obtain graphene oxide/manganese ion sieve coated modified lithium-extracting electrode active material, i.e. electrode material for extracting lithium in salt lake, and mol ratio of electrode active material for extracting lithium to lithium in lithium source is 5-20:1. USE - The method is useful for preparing an electrode material for extracting lithium in a salt lake. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material improves the selectivity of lithium ion and lithium extracting reaction rate, realizes high magnesium-lithium ratio, quickly extracts sodium-lithium from lithium in the solution, and has simple preparation method, high lithium extracting efficiency and obvious technique application value.
