NOVELTY - Graphene multifunctional spandex fiber is prepared by melt blending spandex chips and graphene multifunctional spandex masterbatch. The graphene multifunctional spandex masterbatch includes 60-92 pts. wt. spandex chips, 3-35 pts. wt. carboxylated graphene, and 5-37 pts. wt. functional nanoparticles modified by carboxysilane coupling agent. USE - Graphene multifunctional spandex fiber. ADVANTAGE - The gaphene multifunctional spandex fiber improves the dispersion and graft stability of graphene and functional nanoparticles in spandex fiber, so as to ensure corresponding health functional effects such as negative ions, anti-bacterial and anti-mite, magnetic, formaldehyde removal, odor removal, anti-radiation and anti-ultraviolet functions, and significantly improves anti-oxidative yellowing of spandex fibers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene multifunctional spandex fiber, which involves: (A) adding graphene to a high-energy ball mill, using sodium hydroxide as a grinding aid for high-energy ball mill surface treatment, washing product to neutrality and react with chloroacetic acid in an aqueous solution, washing and drying to obtain carboxylated graphene; (B) dispersing the functional nanoparticles in isopropanol solvent, and dropwise adding carboxysilane coupling agent for surface modification to obtain carboxysilane coupling agent modified functional nanoparticles; (C) mixing functional nanoparticles modified with carboxylated graphene and carboxysilane coupling agent and the spandex chips and extruding through an extruder to obtain graphene and functional modified spandex masterbatch; and (D) mixing obtained graphene and functional modified spandex masterbatch and spandex slices fully in proportion and then melt blended and spun to obtain graphene multifunctional spandex fiber.
