NOVELTY - A composition comprises 60-80%, preferably 70% polyester, 11.7-14.3 wt.%, preferably 13 wt.% catalyst, a nanometric layer containing 0.4-0.6%, preferably 0.5% graphene oxide, and 20-40 vol.%, preferably 30 vol.% fiber which is functionalized with graphene oxide based on 100% polyester. USE - Composition used for multi-layer ballistic protection against firing of rifle with ammunition of high impact power (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition has excellent mechanical property and easily and economically provides lightweight composite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the composition, which involves (i) applying silicone grease release agent to inner surface of mold, (ii) preparing fiber for functionalization with graphene oxide, (iii) functionalizing the fibers, (iv) preparing 20-40 vol.% fiber composite, (v) pouring polyester resin into a metallic matrix until bottom of the matrix is completely wet, (vi) gradually adding fibers functionalized with graphene oxide together with the polyester resin, and ensuring all the fibers are wetted by the resin, (vii) pressing the mixture at room temperature using a hydraulic press with 5 tons of force for 24 hours, (viii) demolding the composite plate, and (ix) assembling the multilayer ballistic shield.
