▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Multiwalled carbon nanotubes are oxidized using concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate. The graphene oxide nanoribbons are dispersed in a solvent to obtain a dispersion. The nanoribbon dispersion and polar rubber solution are ultrasonically processed, formed into a film, and oven-dried to obtain a graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber film. A vulcanizing agent is dissolved in acetone and dripped on the film, acetone is volatilized, and the materials are milled and cured to obtain a graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber composite. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber composite for wires and cables, automobile components, aviation components, and petroleum industry applications (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method simple and economical preparation of graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber composite at low temperature, with easy process control and low energy consumption. The obtained composite has excellent mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Multiwalled carbon nanotubes are added to concentrated sulfuric acid with potassium permanganate for oxidation at 55-80 degrees C for 2-5 hours. The reaction mixture is placed in an ice bath, and 0.1-10 wt.% aqueous hydrogen peroxide and 1-10 wt.% hydrochloric acid are added. The reaction mixture is filtered, washed with deionized water until neutral, and freeze-dried to obtain graphene oxide nanoribbons. The nanoribbons are mechanically stirred and ultrasonically dispersed in an organic solvent for 5-24 hours at 50-450 W for 0.5-3 hours, to obtain a graphene oxide nanoribbon dispersion. Polar rubber is placed in tetrahydrofuran and mechanically stirred to dissolve and obtain a polar rubber solution. The nanoribbon dispersion and rubber solution are mixed and stirred for 10-24 hours and ultrasonically processed for 0.5-1 hour. The obtained mixture is formed into a film and oven-dried in vacuum at 50-150 degrees C for 6-24 hours, to obtain a graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber film. 1-5 Pts. wt. vulcanizing agent is dissolved in acetone and dripped on the film, acetone is completely volatilized, and the materials are mixed for 2-5 minutes using a double roll open mill. The material is cured at 10-20 MPa and 150-180 degrees C, to obtain a graphene oxide nanoribbon/polar rubber composite.
