NOVELTY - Preparing graphene powder comprises (i) reducing and preprocessing the crystalline flake graphite, (ii) adding lithium and liquid ammonia to pretreated crystalline flake graphite, and (iii) volatilizing the liquid ammonia, then adding water or dilute acid and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: has high yield; and increases proportional efficiency of graphene compared to un-pretreated graphite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene powder obtained by above method.
