NOVELTY - Graphene oxide nanoparticles comprise a coating layer formed on surface of the oxidized nano-graphene and comprising triblock copolymer (I) and substituted triblock copolymers (II) and (III). USE - The nanoparticles are useful for diagnosing and treating tumor of mammal other than human (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene oxide nanoparticles comprise a coating layer formed on surface of the oxidized nano-graphene and comprising triblock copolymer of formula (I) and substituted triblock copolymers of formulae (II) and (III). o = n/2; n = 8-540, preferably 196; m = 16-70, preferably 67; R1, R2 = 1-60C alkyl, cycloalkyl, 6-60C aryl, 1-60C alkoxy, 1-20C alkylamino, 1-20C alkylsilyl, 6-30C arylsilyl, 1-50C arylalkylamino, 2-60C alkenyl, 5-60C aryloxy, 5-60C heteroaryl, 5-60C halogen moiety, cyclic arginine-glycine-aspartic acid peptide, folate, transferrin protein, alkyrin repeat protein, monoclonal antibody, affibody, lymphoid tyrosine phosphatase-1 peptide, (N-(2-(3-(125I)Iodobenzoyl) aminoethyl)maleimide-F3Cys amyloid peptide, internalizing arginine-glycine-aspartic acid peptide, aptide, prostate specific membrane antigen A10 RNA aptamer, chitosan, tetraphenylporphyrin ligand, 2-(3-(5-amino-1-carboxylpentyl)-ureido)-culturic acid ligand, immunoglobulin (all are optionally substituted by H, D, halo, hydroxy, cyano, nitro, amino, amidino, hydrazine, hydrazone, -SH, -COOH or its salt, -COC20H3, sulfonic acid or its salt, phosphoric acid or its salts, 1-60C alkyl, 2-60C alkenyl, 2-60C alkynyl, 1-60C alkoxy, 3-60C cycloalkyl, 6-60C aryl, 6-60C aryloxy, 6-60C arylthio, 2-60C heteroaryl, -SiR25R26R27 or -NR28R29), 3-60C cycloalkyl, H, D, lactose, glucose, bombesin or single-chain variable fragment; and R25-R29 = not defined. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing graphene oxide nanoparticles, comprising (a) mixing at least one copolymers of (I)-(III) with oxidized nano-graphene, and (b) forming a triblock copolymer coating layer on the surface of the oxidized nano-graphene by shaking-culturing the mixture; and (2) diagnosing and treating tumor of mammal other than human, comprising (i) injecting the graphene oxide nanoparticles into sample of mammal, and (ii) irradiating the graphene oxide nanoparticles with near-infrared laser, and selectively necrotizing the tumor cells.
