NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene lubricant involves (a) preparing a dispersion by dissolving a predetermined graphene oxide (GO) in a solvent, adding a predetermined ethylenediamine to the prepared GO dispersion, and refluxing at a predetermined temperature and time to synthesize an amino-GO material, (b) preparing a dispersion by dispersing the amino-GO material in a predetermined distilled water, and adding a predetermined alkyl chloride to the prepared amino-GO dispersion through a reflux reaction at a predetermined temperature and time to form an alkyl functionalized graphene oxide (FGO), and (c) adding 0.1 wt.% or less FGO to the base oil, adding 0.5-1.5 wt.% inorganic fullerene-like nanoparticle-tungsten sulfide, and synthesizing 1 wt.% or less 1-methyl-2,4- bis (N-octadecylurea) benzene (MOB) as gelator. USE - Preparation of graphene lubricant. ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphene lubricant having excellent abrasion resistance, lubrication performance, synergistic effect and dispersion continuity.
