NOVELTY - A polycarbonate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (PC-ABS) electromagnetic shielding composite material comprises polycarbonate, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, modified carbon nanotubes and additives. The modified carbon nanotubes are maleic anhydride grafted carbon nanotubes. USE - Polycarbonate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene electromagnetic shielding composite material used in shell of electronic device (claimed) in civil and military electronic products. ADVANTAGE - The electromagnetic shielding composite material improves the absorption loss and multiple reflection attenuation by modifying the surface of the carbon nanotubes, has excellent dielectric property, and has good processability. The hollow structure of carbon nanotubes can increase the dissipation of electromagnetic waves and enhance the interface polarization. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of polycarbonate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (PC-ABS) electromagnetic shielding composite material, which involves premixing the polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene to obtain initial mixture, mixing the remaining raw materials with initial mixture to obtain mixture, heating, melting and extrusion granulation of mixture.
