NOVELTY - Preparing multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier comprises (1) irradiating the first post-treatment polyurethane carrier with an ultraviolet lamp to obtain a first intermediate product, (2) preparing a 6 wt.% ethanol solution of silane coupling agent and ultrasonically processing for 10 minutes to make the solution fully dispersed, (3) oxidizing the graphite powder by potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide to obtain graphene oxide, (4) adding the first intermediate product into the ethanol solution of the silane coupling agent, completely immersing, and placing at a reaction temperature of 40 degrees C, stirring, reacting for 12 hours, washing with deionized water and drying to obtain the second intermediate product, and (S5) preparing a pH 8.5 ethanol solution with sodium hydroxide, adding graphene oxide to the ethanol solution, placing the graphene oxide in an ultrasonic cleaner to shake for 30 minutes, and dispersing uniformly to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion. USE - The modified microbial carrier is useful in biological reaction sewage treatment system. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, and economical; and solves the problem of long film hanging time in the biological immobilization process. The modified microbial carrier: has strong thermal stability and a good application prospects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier comprises (1) irradiating the first post-treatment polyurethane carrier with an ultraviolet lamp to obtain a first intermediate product,(2) preparing a 6 wt.% ethanol solution of silane coupling agent and ultrasonically processing for 10 minutes to make the solution fully dispersed,(3) oxidizing the graphite powder by potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide to obtain graphene oxide,(4) adding the first intermediate product into the ethanol solution of the silane coupling agent, completely immersing, and placing at a reaction temperature of 40 degrees C, stirring, reacting for 12 hours, washing with deionized water and drying to obtain the second intermediate product,(S5) preparing a pH 8.5 ethanol solution with sodium hydroxide, adding graphene oxide to the ethanol solution, placing the graphene oxide in an ultrasonic cleaner to shake for 30 minutes and dispersing uniformly to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion,(6) adding the second intermediate product in the graphene oxide dispersion liquid and placing on a thermostatic magnetic stirrer for reaction, ultrasonically cleaning solid product and drying to obtain a multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use method of multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier comprising applying the multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier to in sewage treatment, or applying the multi-layer graphene oxide modified microbial carrier to microbial solidification.
