▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Method for manufacturing a graphene oxide from kish graphite involves (a) provision of kish graphite, (b) optionally pre-treating kish graphite, (c) intercalating kish graphite with a persulfate salt and an acid at room temperature to obtain an intercalated kish graphite, (d) expanding the intercalated kish graphite at room temperature to obtain an expanded kish graphite, (e) carrying out oxidation of the expanded kish graphite to obtain a graphene oxide, and (f) reducing graphene oxide into reduced graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene oxide, which is useful as coating or cooling reagent in metal applications including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, iron, copper alloys, titanium, cobalt, metal composite and nickel. ADVANTAGE - The reduced graphene oxide has high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, low oxygen content of less than 10% and excellent quality, is hydrophobic, reduces energy consumption, and improves corrosion resistance of metallic substrate. The method reduces oxidation time and is environmentally-friendly.
