NOVELTY - Graphene composite antibacterial and antiviral polypropylene filament comprises 90-95 wt.% propylene monomer, 0.1-9 wt.% graphene material, 0.1-5 wt.% first modifier, 0.1-5 wt.% second modifier and 0.1-1 wt.% catalyst. USE - As graphene composite antibacterial and antiviral polypropylene filament. ADVANTAGE - The modified graphene polypropylene filament fiber has functions of resisting bacteria, resists viruses, removes formaldehyde, is not easy to fall off, has excellent durability and performance, and meets the requirements of current market on functionalized graphene polypropylene filament fibers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene composite antibacterial and antiviral polypropylene filament, comprising (i) preparing modified graphene oxide slurry and freeze-drying to obtain modified graphene oxide powder, (ii) adding the modified graphene oxide powder to propylene and stirring evenly to prepare a propylene/modified graphene oxide mixture, (iii) performing polymerization reaction, discharging and pelletizing drying to obtain in-situ polymerized graphene polypropylene masterbatch, and (iv) drying the graphene polypropylene masterbatch, adding to a screw extruder to heat and melting, filtering through the spinning box and spinning into a bundle to obtain modified graphene polypropylene composite fiber, stretching and crimping processes.
