▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A modified graphite electrode comprises a graphite electrode (101) with an outer surface (102) and a coating (103) comprising electrochemically reduced graphene oxide on the outer surface of the graphite electrode. The modified graphite electrode has an electroactive surface area of 0.3-0.6 cm2. USE - Modified graphite electrode used in device for sensing analyte in sample for detection of uric acid (all claimed) present in blood, plasma, serum, saliva, sweat, urine, washes of tissues, extracts of tissues, amniotic fluid and placental fluid. ADVANTAGE - The modified graphite electrode is reusable and ensures repeated detection without calibration or replacement. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method for detecting uric acid a reference electrode and counter electrode; (2) device for sensing an analyte in a sample; and (3) preparation of the modified graphite electrode.
