▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing glycolic acid by electrocatalytic hydrogenation of oxalic acid comprises (i) electrolyzing aqueous electrolyte containing oxalic acid in catalyst-containing electrode in the electrolytic cell to obtain a glycolic acid solution, and (ii) evaporating the water in the electrolyte to concentrate the glycolic acid content, and using the crystallization method to precipitate the glycolic acid crystals, filtering, separating and vacuum drying. The metal oxide in the material is lead, tin, tantalum, zirconium, niobium, vanadium, chromium, titanium, and/or hafnium oxide. The nano-carbon material used as the carrier is activated carbon, carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphene, porous nano-carbon spheres, mesoporous carbon, and carbon nanofibers. USE - Method for preparing glycolic acid by electrocatalytic hydrogenation of oxalic acid. ADVANTAGE - The method solves the problems of high reaction temperature and high toxicity of raw materials in the existing synthesis process of glycolic acid, has non-toxic raw materials, mild reaction conditions, low equipment cost and no need to use hydrogen, and is economical.
