▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Method for producing a carbon fiber coated with silicon carbide, involves (a) preparing carbon fiber, (b) coating the graphene oxide on the surface of the carbon fiber, (c) coating silicon oxide on the carbon fiber coated with the graphene oxide, and (d) heating the carbon fiber coated with the silicon oxide and graphene oxide to generate a silicon carbide layer on the surface of the carbon fiber. USE - The method is useful for producing carbon fiber coated with silicon carbide, used for membrane, and used in industrial fields such as nonwoven fabrics and filters. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares carbon fiber having high functionality, effectively recycles the discarded carbon fibers, and the carbon fiber coated with the silicon carbide layer may stably maintain properties in an oxidizing atmosphere at a high temperature, and is environmentally-friendly, and reduces the processing cost of industrial waste. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a carbon fiber coated with silicon carbide comprising a carbon fiber, and a silicon carbide layer on the surface of the carbon fiber, where the carbon fiber is recycled carbon fiber; and (2) a membrane comprising a carbon fibers coated with silicon carbide to form a network with each other.
